2000 Hotel Downtown Kigali

It was within 30 min drive from the airport.

I spend 2 nights in Kigali lovely. Really great service, even though a few employees were poorly trained. Got completely renovated, new-fashioned room with a nice mountain view. The location was particularly good and unbeatable, relatively near Union Trade Center. You could walk to a market and several stores.

As for me, the area was extremely busy.

With local food recommendations. The room was comfortable, but the bed was slightly lopsided. The restaurant downstairs offered a great variety of food selections, and the Wi-Fi was great. A pleasant stay despite a few minor issues.

The staff are incredible, the hotel is wonderful and with favourable location right by the new Bamboo restaurant, the staff and location, and airport and decent breakfast. I'm glad that getting Wheelchair Accessible room with TV, lovely view and the tub was not a problem.

The accommodation had a very central location to the main business district. It was adequate, immaculate and with the mountain view. I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would like to come again: )

Staff was friendly and cute throughout my stay.

I encountered multiple issues that left me frustrated. The cleanliness of my room was unacceptable, with the bathroom not up to standard. The air conditioning was ineffective, leading to an uncomfortable experience, and I was subjected to loud noise from a nearby store until late evening. When I requested a late checkout, I was shocked to be charged for two full nights.

Arriving at the hotel seemed like being embraced by family, especially after a long flight. The friendly staff made ensuring we were comfortable their top priority.

I had a fantastic time! The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and having a gym on-site was a huge plus. Room service was quick, and the room was spacious and clean.

The beautiful king room was clean and spacious. The location was perfect for exploring, and we enjoyed long walks around the area. The staff was helpful, especially the reception team who suggested great local spots, and the airport shuttle drivers gave us a mini tour as well.

The rooftop restaurant was a touch different than expected but the meals were enjoyable. Staff were genuinely attentive, providing local tips. Don't miss using the free shuttle service for convenience!

We had fun visiting the playground area, and the staff was amazing at helping us explore Kigali. Always friendly and eager to assist, they recommended excellent local cab services, made our transportation around the city seamless and stress-free.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel could use more modern family-friendly furniture.
